Welcome message from the Headmaster

This is a special and unique place of learning: a school in the shadow of the ancient and magnificent Cathedral in Llandaff, with a family feel, educating both boys and girls from 3 to 16 in an atmosphere of friendship and encouragement.

Particular features of the school are its outstanding academic reputation at all stages (top co-educational school in Wales for GCSEs at A/A* in 2007 as ranked by ‘The Times’), extensive extra-curricular opportunities to ensure pupils develop broad sporting, cultural and academic interests and skills suited to their talents, particular excellence in Music (with a huge range of choirs, orchestras and ensembles, including the Cathedral’s boys and girls choristers) and, as one of 40 UK schools in the Woodard Corporation, a clear and tangible Christian ethos.
