Highlight of the week

We decided early in the week to hold a fundraising effort for Haiti, moved by the appalling scenes on TV and in the newspapers.

I should like to thank pupils, parents and staff for taking part in the ‘Hats for Haiti' fundraising events today which raised a total of over £1900.00.   The photograph shows how much fun was involved but does not deflect from the seriousness behind this very worthwhile day.   The Chapel has been open all day for a vigil of prayers for the people of Haiti, and over 100 pupils have lit candles for Haiti there.
