Senior Management

The Senior Management Team is responsible for the management of all aspects of the school on a day-to-day basis, under the oversight of the School Council (Governors).

  • Stephen Morris, Headmaster, chairs the SMT. His teaching subjects are RE and History. He has previously taught at a comprehensive school in Yorkshire, and in the independent sector as a Head of Department at Bedford School, Head of Sixth Form at Brentwood School, and Second Master (Deputy Head) at Reading Blue Coat School.
  • Robert Leek is Bursar, responsible for finance, administration, catering, maintenance, cleaning and grounds. Robert is a former bank manager.
  • Lawrence Moon is the Deputy Head responsible for the Senior Section. He teaches modern languages. He was previously Head of Modern Languages at St Paul's in London.
  • Bret Garland is the Deputy Head responsible for the Junior Section. He teaches Mathematics.
  • Pam Creed is the Director of Studies, responsible for timetabling, reports and academic standards. She teaches Biology. She has previously taught at St John's College in Cardiff.
  • Sally Walsh is Director of Infants, and has previously been in senior management roles in Primary and Infant schools in London, and a national consultant on Mathematics education for Junior pupils.

In addition to the SMT, other senior colleagues are:

  • Senior Section Housemasters, responsible for the pastoral care of pupils in this section, are: Jo Gordon-Smith (St Dyfrig's House), Kevin Scot (St Euddogwy's House), Nic Patterson (St Teilo's House).
  • Junior Section Tutors, responsible for the pastoral care of pupils in this section, are: Leah Crew, Gavin Roberts
  • Others responsible for aspects of pastoral care throughout the school are Jo Dinsmore (Child Protection Co-ordinator) and the Chaplain, the Revd Dr John Plessis.
  • Adrian Cummins, the staff co-ordinator, who manages day to day arrangements and the school calendar
