NURSERY

The Nursery at the Cathedral School places a considerable stress upon learning through play, though without losing its focus on preparing pupils for, and introducing them to, a traditional academic education based upon reading, writing and arithmetic. The Nursery is housed in its own building within the beautiful walled garden, with areas set aside for outdoor and wet play, stories, ICT and general play and activities. The nursery is generously staffed with qualified nursery nurses and a teacher, and is overseen by the Director of Infants, Sally Walsh, and managed on a day-to-day basis by Sarah Morgan and Jill Graham.
