Prefects

The Prefects are charged with a specific leadership role within the school. There are prefects in both Junior and Senior Sections. Their role is to make the school a better place, through their actions, their words, their encouragement of others (or, when necessary, cautionary words to others!), and the advice they offer to the staff. It is a significant post of leadership and responsibility.

Prefects are chosen through a process of consultation which involves both staff and pupils. Selected candidates are then offered the position of prefect and its extensive responsibilities are carefully explained to them. They then have time to reflect upon the offer of the role before accepting or declining in writing. The formal appointment is made at Prize Giving at the end of the Summer Term, for the coming academic year.

For 2010/2011, the Senior Section Heads of School are Rob Lindsay (Head Boy) and Harrie Clemens (Head Girl).
