School Assemblies

Most days of the week begin with an assembly, at which there is usually a reading from the Scriptures, a hymn, and several prayers, including the Our Father (the Lord's Prayer).

Assemblies celebrate pupils' achievements and reinforce the school's ethos through a variety of means. They provide a period of contemplation in the day and an opportunity for prayer and worship. Common themes include the glory of God, the beauty of the world, the bortherhood of all human beings as people of equal worth and dignity, the obligation we have to care for each other and especially for those in need, thankfulness for the gift of life.
