Co-curricular actvities in the Junior Section
The School is very proud of its extensive programme of co-curricular activities. These supplement the normal timetable and give pupils the opportunity to do something different and of their own choice. It also provides the pupils a chance to meet and mix with older children in the school (the Senior Section). This enables us to promote a system of partnership. In addition to the opportunities to participate in a number of sporting activities, music and drama rehearsals at lunchtimes, there are a number of activities available to the children at the end of the school day. Year 3 pupils may join the Homework Club before participating in one of the following presently being offered in the Michaelmas Term 2008:
Rugby, Netball, Cookery, Cross-stitch, Chess, Science Club, Archaeology Club, Drama, Eco-Schools, Judo, ICT Club, Craft Club
In addition to these, instrumental and music lessons are available. The range of instruments offered is extremely wide. Speech and Drama lessons are offered for small groups and pupils are entered for LAMDA examinations. Ballet and Tap lessons are also offered.
