Early Years (Infants & Nursery)

The Early Years education at the Cathedral School is designed to build up pupils' basic academic skills and lay solid foundations for future academic progress, through both traditional teaching and through encouraging childrens' imagination through play, story, and role-play. Class sizes are comparatively small and teachers along with classroom assistants know their pupils very well indeed. Behavioural standards are high, and there is a busy and purposeful academic atmosphere. Pupils thrive under the encouragement and friendliness which are the hallmarks of the Early Years education here.
