Choral Scholars sing carols with more than 700 children

The Choral Scholars recently joined with 700 primary school children in Llandaff Cathedral for a Festival of Christmas Music. The Choral Scholars performed extracts from Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” and “O holy night” by Stephen Adams. The Scholars also provided descants for the congregational carols. Visitors commented on the high quality of the singing of the girls and their professional approach to their role within the festival.The event was organised in conjunction with the Rhondda-Cynon-Taff music service and it is hoped that the choral scholars will continue to take a leading role in similar outreach projects in the future.
