'The Next Step' Event - Careers Advice & University Preparation

It was wonderful to see so many pupils, students and parents attend the inaugural ‘Next Step’ event this week. The event offered a fantastic opportunity to meet leading experts in the fields of journalism, architecture, law, medicine, veterinary science, marketing, physiotherapy, finance, dentistry, property development to name just a few! 

We were also pleased to welcome leading universities including Imperial College and Bath to our university preparation fayre in the RDS where pupils and students also met experts in Oxbridge and medical applications and STEM courses.  Chartwells fed us well with inspirational menu ideas for quick, healthy meals on a budget.

It was a wonderful night all round and I hear that a few students managed wow the exhibitors and were offered work experience and internships on the spot!
