St Dyfrig's House

St Dyfrig' s House is overseen by Mrs Jo Gordon-Smith. The House prefects for 2011-2012 are Harrie Clemens, Charlotte Harris, James McPherson, Luke Stevens and Sophia Williams. The Prefects oversee the general running of the House, but individual events are organised by various captains. This year's Captains are: Music -  Claire Shadwell and Dominic Clarke. Creative Arts - Sophie Bird and Finn Cohen-Ennis. Charities - Ali Khan and Shonar Mujumdar, Sport - Georgina Donovan.

The House prides itself on its caring, spirited nature and good sportsmanship on the playing field. Our motto, Notabiles Audeamus Esse Omnes, means "dare to be remarkable", a motto all pupils and staff of the House strive to live by.

The House has achieved a remarkable amount in its second year, with some of the most notable events being our win in the House Singing Competition, the sleep out for Shelter Cymru where we raised over £2000 to help the homeless and our summer trip to Thorpe Park.
