Infant Music Concert

Infant Music Concert
Our youngest musicians took centre stage this week in a joyful celebration of musical talent at the Infant Music Concert.

The concert opened with a lively and interactive performance from our Mini Strings group, whose enthusiasm set the tone for the afternoon. Year 2 recorder players then impressed with tuneful renditions of Mary Had a Little Lamb and One More Time. A line-up of confident soloists followed, performing on a variety of instruments including piano, cello, violin, recorder, glockenspiel and even baritone. From Old MacDonald to Walking in the Air, each piece was delivered with a smile, and often a proud bow, reflecting both the hard work of our pupils and the expert guidance of our specialist peripatetic music teachers. To finish, the Infant Choir delighted the audience with a spirited rendition of Hey Mr Bee! and a toe-tapping Lion King medley. We were delighted to see such a big turnout for this event - thank you to all of our supportive audience members.
