The Cathedral School Remote Learning Community

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we are only able to open our school to limited numbers, with pupils and students having between two and three days on site. Our learning continues with a combination of live on site learning and our dynamic remote learning programme.

Prospective Families

If you are a prospective family looking for a school for your child, our Admissions Office is open and our Registrar, Ms Deborah Whitehouse is available to talk to you, explain our entrance procedures and chat through how The Cathedral School might suit you as a family In the meantime, why not find out more about The Cathedral School via our school videos and virtual tour.

The Cathedral School offers a range of scholarships including Academic, Music and Sport for pupils joining Year 7 and Year 12.

There is no need to apply for an Academic Scholarship in Year 7 as the entrance test results are used to identify pupils who will be considered further for these awards. Applications are necessary for Year 12 Academic Scholarships.

In addition, the Cathedral School provides a small number of financial bursaries each year, which are means tested, based on the Independent Schools Bursar Association structure (ISBA).
