Last week, our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils ventured to the River Wye Activity Centre for their annual outward bound residentials.
Both groups undertook activities designed to push them out of their comfort zone - and pushed they were. From gorge walking to bushcraft, caving to archery, there was something for everyone. Staff were delighted with the way pupils threw themselves into the activities and the opportunities pupils took to show a different side to themselves. In the evenings, pupils showed their moves on the dance floor and there were also some 'interesting shapes' thrown by staff at the D-I-S-C-S-O!
Reflecting on the residentials, they were a wonderful way for pupils to grow together.
