AS level successes

Half way through their A level courses, the Cathedral School’s first sixth form cohort have achieved A*/A/B grades in three quarters of the units taken thus far (prior to any re-marks or re-sits). The school is delighted with these interim measures of progress which show its first ever sixth formers firmly on course for a set of A level results to compete with the very best performing schools in the country.
(Note: A* grades are not awarded at AS level, but 80% of candidates taking Further Maths have been awarded A* grades in their A level Maths, with no grade for such mathematicians below an A grade).
