As part of their exciting topic launch, they ventured to Cardiff Castle for a memorable learning experience. Despite the wet weather, spirits were high, and the pupils had a wonderful day. During a guided tour of the castle, the pupils discovered what life was like for people living there in the past. This was followed by a lively Meet the Knight workshop, where Sir Jay brought history to life by sharing stories of a knight’s daily life and demonstrating the armour they would have worn. Pupils eagerly tried on pieces of armour and even held a sword, quickly realising just how heavy everything was!
