Harvest Festival

08 October 2025
Harvest Festival
From harvest crafts to autumnal walks around our grounds, it’s been a wonderful week finding out about how special this time of year is to us.

It is also a time to reflect on how we can help others not as fortunate as ourselves. We have continued to support our local area in the form of our Harvest Food Drive, collecting items for the Cardiff Foodbank. The appeal closes on Monday at lunchtime - do continue to send washing up liquid, washing powders/liquids and deodorants.  Thank you for all the fantastic donations received this week; we know that many families in the surrounding area will benefit from your kind generosity.

On Wednesday, we celebrated our Harvest Festival with a service in the Cathedral for pupils in Years 1 to 4. This included a reading of the Parable of the Sower, Harvest poems as well as songs from the choirs. Infants delighted us with their song, Hedgehog Highway, whilst Cantate sang of Autumn Wonder. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us for this special service.
