It has been a busy week for celebrations in the Senior Section, with a considerable number of pupils receiving their Head's Awards. Bronze and Silver recipients were involved in presentations on Wednesday evening in the DS; and four very high-quality PowerPoint presentations were delivered to parents, peers, Mr Moon and Mrs Sherwood. Each presentation was delivered by a combination of presenters, and they covered all of the criteria needed to achieve the Award. Service was presented by Elsie M and Eleri H; Leadership by Katy M-H and Sophia G; Physical by Ralph K, Nathan V and William S; and Extension by Harriet F, Matilda L and Nia E. Supplementing these was a musical piece played Mathilda H-C on the marimba. The pupils were a credit to themselves, their families and the school. Many thanks to Myles C, one of our current Heads of School, as he acted as compere for the evening.
On Friday morning, during our usual cathedral service of worship, 33 pupils - our largest cohort to date - were given their Gold Awards. Parents joined the congregation and witnessed, not only a sizeable number of pupils achieving and completing the final stage of the award, but also the highest proportion of Gold Awards with Distinction being awarded. Congratulations and well done to everyone!
