Key Skills Initiative for Year 7

This week Year 7 were involved in the Wimpey game. This involved them taking roles such as architect, project manager and site manager to produce an accurate model of a building at the cheapest cost. The purpose behind the game is to develop the key skills of team working, communication and problem solving. These are abilities that employers say are often lacking in even some of their brightest job applicants.

The pupils enjoyed a fun morning and had a very rewarding learning experience.
