Platinum Eco-Schools Award

We are thrilled to announce that this week we achieved the prestigious Platinum Eco-Schools Award! This achievement marks a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainability and environmental stewardship. Receiving the Platinum Award is a testament to the collective efforts of our pupils, staff, and the entire school community. It showcases our commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future. This accolade comes as a result of our continued efforts to address various environmental issues and integrating sustainable practices into our daily lives. We have actively participated in the Eco-Schools program for 15 years, working on key areas such as biodiversity, energy conservation, waste reduction, and more. Our initiatives have not only improved our school’s environmental footprint but have also instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness among our pupils. We have integrated environmental topics into our curriculum from Nursery to Sixth Form, and we have active Eco Committee members across all year groups. As we celebrate this success, let’s use it as inspiration to continue our efforts in promoting environmental consciousness. The Platinum Eco-Schools Award is not just a milestone; it’s a reminder of the work and commitment we must continue to put in to make CSL a thriving sustainability hub.
