St Dyfrig's House

St Dyfrig' s House is overseen by Dr Bailey and supported by a team of tutors: Mrs Adderley, Miss Dawson, Ms Shambler, Ms Thomas, Mr A Thomas and Mrs Dinsmore. The Head of House is Sam W, the Deputy Head of House is Ella T and the House Prefects are Hebe T, Ben M, Sol H and Olivia W.  Sam, Ella and the prefects oversee the general running of the House, organise charity events and ensure the House is inclusive with respect to the House competitions.

The House prides itself on its inclusive, caring, spirited nature and good sportsmanship in competitions. Our motto, Notabiles Audeamus Esse Omnes, means "Dare to be remarkable", a motto all pupils and staff of the House strive to live by.

The House has achieved a remarkable amount this year, with impressive wins in the first two 'major' competitions; The House Singing and the Eisteddfod. We have also recently achieved an historic first of three wins in three days - a remarkable effort!

We are supporting two charities this year; Cancer Research Wales and Leaves of Hope for Belarusian Children.
