Pupils from Years 11 to 13 represented the School with pride across rugby, hockey, football and netball fixtures, displaying outstanding teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tour. Against local opposition, our teams rose to every challenge, which was largely the humidity and weather (pelting rain or blazing sun!). Our teams demonstrated skill, resilience and a true competitive spirit. Beyond the fixtures, pupils had the opportunity to explore the rich culture and natural beauty of Sri Lanka. From visiting temples, turtle spots and tea plantations to experiencing the national elephant sanctuary and historic fort at Galle, the group embraced every moment with enthusiasm and curiosity.

 

A huge thank you to all staff and pupils involved for making the tour such a great experience. Their commitment, energy and positive attitude ensured it was an unforgettable journey; both on and off the pitch.
